The hotel had rooms that were a very good size, but the view of the city and restaurants from my room was a bit gloomy. Despite being boiling hot and loud, the rooms were spacious. The service was very friendly and helpful overall, with perfect interactions at reception and in the restaurant, though it needs a refreshing touch. The location, while close to the downtown area, was not so close to the city center and a bit hard to locate due to one-way streets. The dining options were quite good overall, but there were very few choices for a vegetarian diet. The Hungarian beef stew was a highlight from the menu. The facilities were functional but lacked an extensive range of services. One negative was that some advertised facilities were shut beyond the stated dates, which was disappointing. Overall, despite the drawbacks, the hotel offered good value for money for the stay.
